Closet Factory is one of the most established custom organization brands in the United States, with over 40 years of national presence, professional manufacturing, and installation expertise.

Closet Factory of West Michigan operates under national trade agreements with Lowe’s and Costco, creating strong inbound opportunity and retail-backed credibility.

We design and install fully custom storage systems for closets, pantries, garages, home offices, laundry rooms, wall beds, and specialty cabinetry.

This is a professional in-home consultation and closing role — not retail counter sales.

Compensation Structure

  • $50 per appointment (recoverable draw)
  • 10% commission on company-provided leads
  • 10% commission on standard Lowe’s & Costco leads
  • 12% commission on retail event leads you personally staff
  • 13% commission on self-generated business
  • Bi-weekly pay
  • W2 position

Top performers earn six figures.

This is a performance-based role.
Low performers will not thrive here.
High performers build long-term income within a stable national brand.

Preferred Background (Not Required)

Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

  • Kitchen or cabinetry sales
  • Remodeling or construction sales
  • Windows, roofing, bath conversion
  • Custom closets
  • In-home, commission-based sales
  • Residential building, architecture, or design with client relationships

However, all designers are expected to follow the same performance standards, retail participation requirements, and team processes.

What We Expect

  • Maintain a 50%+ close rate
  • Discuss project investment early in the consultation
  • Ask for deposits before leaving appointments
  • Participate in retail activation (minimum 2 store visits per month)
  • Attend weekly Wednesday 9am sales meetings
  • Follow our structured consult and presentation process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
