Senior Informatica Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows using Informatica and cloud-native tools
  • Administer and support Informatica environments, including:
  • Installation, patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
  • Support for Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
  • Develop and optimize data integration solutions across multiple data sources
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure services, including:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Databricks
  • Write and maintain advanced SQL queries, Shell scripts, and Python-based data processing scripts
  • Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets within big data environments
  • Perform data modeling, transformation, and performance tuning
  • Support and manage Linux/Unix environments for data processing workloads
  • Work closely with SQL Server and Oracle databases, including query optimization and performance tuning
  • Implement and support data governance and cataloging solutions using tools such as Azure Purview
  • Ensure data pipelines and systems comply with security, governance, and federal standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and application developers

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance, Interim Secret, or DHS T3 (High)
  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Informatica (PowerCenter, IDQ) – Administration and Development
  • ETL design, development, and optimization
  • SQL and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Proficiency in:
  • Shell scripting and Python (working knowledge or higher)
  • Experience with:
  • Azure cloud platform and data services
  • Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks
  • Strong experience with:
  • Linux/Unix environments
  • Big data platforms and distributed data processing
  • Proven experience working in secure, production environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Purview and data governance frameworks
  • Familiarity with Azure AI services and advanced analytics platforms
  • Experience supporting federal or government clients
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
