Senior Innovation Lead

The Senior Innovation Lead will identify, implement, and scale digital and innovation-driven solutions within the construction field.

This role blends strategic vision and hands-on execution — developing strategies to close process gaps, setting up systems for adoption, and leading implementation across business units.

You’ll play a key role in integrating new technologies, managing digital transformation roadmaps, and ensuring innovation translates into measurable business results. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, data-driven, and collaborative , with a strong background in construction technology and change management.

What You'll Do:

Digital & Innovation Strategy

• Identify opportunities to digitize or optimize construction processes using technology.
• Develop and execute innovation strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Lead the integration and implementation of advanced technology solutions to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Technology Implementation

• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of construction technology applications.
• Manage technical debt, backlogs, and pilot programs for new and emerging technologies.
• Standardize tools across business units and ensure alignment with existing platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract renewals, and technology partnerships.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor innovation champions and direct reports, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Inspire teams to think differently and embrace continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships across departments and with external partners to ensure adoption and engagement.

Program & Project Management

• Manage multiple projects end-to-end with clear milestones and cost control.
• Conduct feasibility studies, develop business cases, and drive implementations to completion.
• Coordinate with IT, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.

Training, Facilitation & Engagement

• Conduct training on innovation best practices and digital tools.
• Facilitate focus groups, ideation sessions, and workshops to co-create solutions.
• Promote innovation initiatives across the organization through campaigns, events, and communication programs.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track, measure, and report innovation progress and impact.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies in construction and innovation.
• Manage time effectively, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 10–15 years’ experience in construction technology management or digital transformation within the construction sector
• Proven experience leading technology implementations, teams, and innovation projects
• Project Management Certification (PMP / Prince2) preferred
• Background in Innovation, Strategy, or PMO is an advantage
• Proficient in Visio/ARIS for process mapping and SQL / Power BI for analytics
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
• Valid UAE Driving License required
