Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer (Fit-Out Specialist) to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, plan, and execute interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all designs align with client requirements, brand standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand identity.
• Understand client requirements (OPR) and translate ideas into creative design concepts, sketches, and presentations.
• Define project scopes, schedules, and deliverables during the briefing and planning phases.
• Develop mood boards, design concepts, and material presentations tailored to client vision.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather critical information for design development.
• Prepare detailed space plans, layouts, elevations, and technical drawings compliant with building codes and international standards.
• Select sustainable and cost-effective materials, finishes, and furnishings in line with project budgets.
• Produce detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications for implementation.
• Manage project budgets, negotiate with suppliers and vendors, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Supervise site works, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure quality design execution.
• Conduct regular QA/QC inspections to verify compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout all project stages.

Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior design and fit-out (consultancy experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Illustrator, or equivalent design software.
• Proven expertise in space planning, material selection, lighting design, and custom joinery.
• Excellent design portfolio (minimum 3 completed projects with significant impact).
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.
• Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to produce professional 3D visuals/CGIs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Certification is mandatory.
• Membership with a local or international design organization is preferred.
• Strong professional portfolio demonstrating previous works is required.

Language Requirements

• Required: English, Hindi, Urdu
• Preferred: Arabic
