Role Overview

The Senior Interior Designer is a creative and strategic leader responsible for developing design concepts, managing client relationships, and guiding a talented design team through every stage of a project—from inspiration to installation.

This role combines vision, leadership, and execution to deliver the signature Krista + Home experience: design that is bold, intentional, and beautifully livable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creative direction and concept development across multiple high-endresidential projects
• Produce design drawings, finish selections, and presentation materials (CAD proficiency required).
• Serve as the main client contact, ensuring exceptional communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager during design development, construction, and installation.
• Mentor and inspire junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables.
• Present compelling, polished design concepts to clients and internal leadership.
• Manage project timelines, maintain Asana tasks, and ensure all deadlines are met with precision and grace.

Client Service & Relationship Management

• Represent the firm with professionalism and warmth, reflecting Krista +
• Home’s service philosophy in every interaction.
• Prepare and organize client materials, manage meeting follow-ups, and oversee communication between departments.
• Act as the client’s advocate during installation, ensuring every space is delivered to the highest standard.

Core Competencies

• Deep understanding of construction documentation, space planning, and finish detailing.
• Expertise in luxury furnishings, textiles, and materials sourcing.
• Ability to lead multiple projects while maintaining design integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Design Manager, and Asana.
• Strong visual presentation, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in high-end residential design.
• Strong leadership, organization, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining design quality and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
