Senior Interior Designer

About the Studio:

the Warren is a Los Angeles based interior design studio focusing primarily on high-end residential projects. At the Warren, we are committed to individuation. Senior Designer Role:

We are looking to expand our team with a skilled Senior Designer who has an obvious enthusiasm for design, a strong work ethic, and generative nature. The Senior Designer will be responsible for creating construction documents and client facing visualizations. They will be a crucial creative collaborator to the established design team. Precision and attention to detail will be integral to success in the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal Designer to generate design schematics
  • Generate floor plans, electrical plans and furniture plans
  • Generate 3D renderings in SketchUp & Revit (Enscape)
  • Generate specification schedules for clients, contractors and trades
  • Generate construction documents
  • Redline shop drawings or construction documents
  • Cross reference multiple mediums to ensure all specifications are clear and correct
  • Generate and organize detailed client files within Google Drive

Education, Experience & Software Proficiency:

  • At least 5 years working in a design/architecture firm OR an interior design/architect degree
  • Experience in high-end residential projects preferred
  • Revit (Construction Documents, BIM management)
  • SketchUp
  • AutoCAD (plus but not required)
  • Photoshop/ Adobe (plus but not required)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of Architectural & Interior Design plans.
  • Ability to design and detailed custom FFE.
  • Familiarity with creating detailed schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Supportive team member, care for the office environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proactive problem-solving - anticipate hiccups and generate clever solutions
  • Enthusiasm in creative collaboration

What to Expect:

  • Job Type: Contractor / Option for full-time position after trial period.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am-5:30pm (flexible)
  • Work Location/Ability to Commute: Woodland Hills, CA 91364 (Required)
  • Compensation: $50-$65 hourly rate based on experience

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
