Senior IT Buyer / Procurement Manager

Overview:

The Senior IT Buyer / Procurement Manager will lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities for IT hardware, both new and refurbished. This position plays a key role in ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting internal and external customer hardware needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement of IT hardware for resale and refurbishment programs.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost savings and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships; conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Manage purchase orders, order processing, and demand forecasts.
  • Support strategic initiatives related to inventory management, logistics, and supplier development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team on IT hardware best practices.
  • Stay current on technology and market trends to inform sourcing decisions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in procurement or supply chain management (preferably IT hardware).
  • 2+ years of supplier management and contract negotiation experience.
  • Proven experience managing IT hardware, refurbished, and service part procurement.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
