We are seeking Senior IT Technicians for a high-impact, 26-week Windows 11 Enterprise Migration project. This role requires a "white-glove" approach to technical support, combining advanced imaging skills with excellent user-facing professionalism.
The Expectations
- Full Lifecycle Migration: Responsible for the end-to-end upgrade process, including hardware pickup, manual data backups, and return-to-service.
- Advanced Build Management: Beyond standard imaging, you will manually install and configure specialized software for complex workstations.
- System Validation: Perform post-imaging checks to ensure all drivers, BIOS firmware, and network connectivity (Wi-Fi/LAN) are fully functional.
- Quality Standards: Maintain a high "first-pass" success rate and ensure all deployment checklists are documented accurately.
Requirements & Abilities
- Technical Proficiency: Deep experience with Windows 11 migrations and SCCM-driven imaging.
- Hardware Knowledge: Expert-level familiarity with enterprise-grade laptops, desktops, and workstations.
- Data Integrity: Ability to perform manual user data backups to network shares and verify cloud synchronization (OneDrive).
- Operational Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict project milestones.
Background & Security
- Federal Clearance: Must be able to pass a rigorous background check for secure facility badging and proximity card issuance.
- Mobility: Must have reliable transportation for travel between regional facilities.
- Flexibility: Ability to work standard business hours with occasional night shifts for specialty secure areas.
Statement of Work (SOW): Technical Requirements1. Scope of Work
The Technician shall execute the migration of endpoints to Windows 11, following the established desk-side pickup and return model. This includes performing manual backups, initiating SCCM imaging sequences, and conducting final post-image validation.
2. Technical Performance Standards
- Successful Deployment: At least 97% of imaging jobs must be completed successfully on first contact.
- Rework Mitigation: Technicians are responsible for remedying any missing applications or local data issues identified after the device is returned to the user.
- Documentation: Technicians must complete and submit a checklist (digital or manual) for every device to ensure 100% audit compliance.
3. Security & Schedule
- Badging: All personnel must meet security requirements for official facility access.
- Deadlines: Work will be performed to meet set interim milestones, specifically a 60% completion target by July 31st and 100% by September 30th.
- Logistics: Technicians are responsible for their own travel and parking; the project has a fixed allowance for parking expenses.
