Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT Infrastructure Specialist to support and collaborate with the IT Manager in maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure. The role focuses on technical execution, system administration, and infrastructure operations, contributing to the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities (in collaboration with the IT Manager)

• Administer, maintain, and optimize virtualization environments (VMware ESX / ESXi) and Windows Servers
• Support the implementation and management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers
• Maintain and support LAN/WAN networks, cabling, switches, firewalls, and secure VPN connectivity
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, and access controls
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, and system improvements
• Participate in IT projects, including server deployments and multi-site network initiatives
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support business continuity
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system records
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal users and IT staff when required

Required Technical

• Skills Virtualization: Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESX / ESXi
• Windows Server Administration: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, File Services
• Networking: LAN/WAN, switching, structured cabling, firewall configuration
• VPN & Remote Connectivity: Secure site-to-site and user connections
• Security: Endpoint protection, access control, and basic infrastructure security
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: System performance monitoring and issue resolution

Experience

• Exposure to multi-site or complex IT environments is an advantage

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master’s degree is an advantage
• Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus
