About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT / Network Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, system support, firewall management, and IT security.

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to maintain a secure and high-performing IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls
• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot system/network issues
• Implement and manage VPNs and remote access solutions
• Ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support to internal users
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and network diagrams
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT/Network Administration
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco ASA preferred)
• Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and basic cloud administration is a plus
• CCNA certification preferred
