Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team. This role is essential in maintaining seamless IT operations, ensuring the health and security of our Microsoft 365 environment, providing advanced end-user support, and driving best practices across our IT systems and services.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, and user management.
Key Requirements
Microsoft 365 & Azure
Full administration and management of all Microsoft 365 services and features (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Security & Compliance Center).
Strong knowledge of Azure Entra ID (Identity & Access Management).
Server deployment and management in hybrid and cloud environments.
Endpoint management with Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, autopilot).
Security management with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, DLP, EDR, and Conditional Access policies.
Windows & System Administration
Installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2019/2022).
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies (GPO).
File server and print server management.
Managing virtualization environments (basic VMware/Hyper-V).
User account lifecycle management (creation, permissioning, deactivation).
Regular system monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.
Ensuring system security, backups, and patch compliance.
Maintaining IT asset inventory and license compliance.
End-User & Desktop Support
Providing Level 2/3 support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Remote and on-site troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Software installation, upgrades, and license management.
Networking & Security
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi networks, endpoint security, and secure remote access.
Backup & Recovery
User data backup and restore (OneDrive, SharePoint, Veeam, or similar tools).
Familiarity with disaster recovery support and server failover procedures.
Monitoring & IT Operations
Experience with ITSM/Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, or equivalent).
Proficiency with ManageEngine Endpoint Central for endpoint lifecycle management (patching, software deployment, asset management, remote troubleshooting).
Monitoring and reporting using tools like SCCM, Intune, or Endpoint Manager.
Proactive issue detection, patching, and compliance reporting.
Soft Skills & Leadership
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
Ability to document procedures and create user guides.
Arabic language skills (Preferred): Candidate should ideally be bilingual (Arabic & English) to support end-users effectively.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
This role is critical to ensuring smooth daily IT operations, maintaining Microsoft 365 & endpoint security, supporting business continuity, and providing end-user support in both English and Arabic.
