Job Title: Senior IT Support Technician
Location: Bedford, NH (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25 to $35 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to support and maintain organizational technology systems and provide escalated technical support for computers, IT services, and related equipment. This role will diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues while supporting daily IT operations and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for computer systems, hardware, printers, and peripherals including troubleshooting, installation, repair, training, and maintenance
- Assist with interviewing and mentoring IT Support Technicians
- Help manage and report on key IT support metrics
- Support IT leadership with strategic projects and operational alignment
- Manage user account requests and terminations ensuring compliance with IT and security policies
- Administer Azure Active Directory including password resets, PowerShell synchronization, device management, training, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Manage and troubleshoot web filtering applications
- Support IT purchasing and procurement processes including vendor coordination and product research
- Ensure compliance with termination and legal hold IT procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
- Ensure fair distribution of support requests based on volume and complexity
- Assist with basic network configuration and support as needed
- Support managed print services and vendor interactions
- Track and update service tickets throughout the full request lifecycle
- Provide A/V support including Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams
- Assist other IT teams as required
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 7 years of IT Support or Help Desk experience with increasing responsibility and some supervisory experience
- At least 2 years of recent experience with mobile device management including tablets
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chromebooks, Microsoft Office, databases, servers, and networking
- Experience with hosted VoIP systems and support
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with users of varying technical skill levels
- Ability to provide one-on-one and group training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite position in Manchester, NH
- Hands-on technical support role requiring interaction with users and equipment
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
