About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 3 to 5 years of industrial experience in developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and the ability to guide junior developers. The role requires solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and related backend technologies, along with a proactive mindset to drive high-quality development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Lead and mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and architectural improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure code quality by following best practices, standards, and design principles.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and optimize data access.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and sprint planning.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements where necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, Collections Framework, and Java 8+ features.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
• Experience working with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and guide junior team members.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with unit testing and automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
