Senior L3 System Administrator (Certified cPanel Professional)

Eccohost is seeking two highly skilled and Certified cPanel Professionals to join our core technical team. As an L3 System Administrator, you will be responsible for the health, security, and performance of our server infrastructure. You will handle the most complex technical escalations, ensuring 99.9% uptime for our global client base.

Key Responsibilities

• L3 Technical Support: Resolve complex server-side issues escalated from L1/L2 teams, including kernel-level troubleshooting and advanced network debugging.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee high-volume server environments (WHM/cPanel) across providers like Hetzner, Vultr, and DigitalOcean.
• Security & Optimization: Manage server hardening using cPGuard, CloudLinux, and LiteSpeed. Monitor for and mitigate DDoS attacks and malware.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts to automate routine server tasks and domain management.
• Migration Expert: Execute seamless large-scale migrations (WordPress, WHM to WHM, and cross-platform) with zero data loss.
• Email Deliverability: Manage complex mail configurations, including Exim troubleshooting, Amazon SES Smarthosting, and SMTP relay setups.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Must hold an active cPanel Professional (CPP) or cPanel Sales Professional (CPSP) certification. (cPanel Certified System Administrator preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in web hosting or server administration.
• OS Mastery: Expert knowledge of AlmaLinux, CloudLinux, and CentOS.
• Web Stack: Deep understanding of LiteSpeed, Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MySQL/MariaDB optimization.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency with Git/Git LFS, LVM partitioning, RAID configurations, and AWS CLI.
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to fix "unsolvable" technical issues under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cPGuard security suite.
• Familiarity with WHMCS or custom hosting billing dashboards.
• Knowledge of backup solutions (JetBackup or Acronis).
