New Role for my UAE Network - Senior Laravel Engineer (Fintech) 🇦🇪

***Can be fully remote for the next 6 months given tensions in the region***

What you’re looking for:

- 7+ years Laravel (production systems)

- Experience owning systems end-to-end (architecture → deployment → on-call)

Strong experience with:

- Event sourcing / CQRS

- MySQL optimisation (queries, indexing, performance)

- Queues + real-time systems (WebSockets)

- Writes clean, tested code (Pest/PHPUnit)

- Comfortable in production environments handling real money / high-stakes systems

- Solid DevOps understanding (CI/CD, deployments, logs)

- Strong problem-solving + ownership mindset

Bonus:

Fintech / payments / trading experience

Laravel ecosystem depth (Livewire, latest releases, packages)

What they’ll do:

Own and build complex fintech platforms

Make architecture decisions

Handle performance + production issues

Mentor engineers and raise standards

Key filter: Not junior/mid — needs to be someone who can hit the ground running in a complex codebase immediately.
