Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Civil Lawyer to handle civil cases, provide legal advice, prepare documentation, and represent clients in legal proceedings. The role requires in-depth knowledge of civil law, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and consultation on civil matters such as property disputes, contracts, torts, family matters, landlord–tenant issues, recovery suits, and other non-criminal cases.

Draft, review, and file pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, contracts, and other legal documents.

Represent clients in civil courts, tribunals, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.

Conduct legal research, analyze case laws, and prepare arguments to support cases.

Negotiate settlements and provide dispute resolution services.

Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and strategy.

Ensure all filings and legal processes comply with statutory requirements and deadlines.

Liaise with government authorities, registrars, and external counsel when necessary.

Maintain proper documentation and case records.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); LLM in Civil Law preferred.

Must be licensed to practice law and registered with the Bar Council.

Proven experience as a Civil Lawyer or in civil litigation practice.

Strong knowledge of civil laws, property law, contract law, family law, and procedural law.

Excellent research, drafting, and advocacy skills.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases independently.

High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
