Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Technology in Islamabad

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Medical Lab Technology to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions in medical laboratory techniques and operation of medical equipment. They will utilize their specialized knowledge gained from a relevant Masters degree and ensure that students gain a solid foundation in clinical laboratory skills and theoretical understanding. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in teaching, with at least two years as a lecturer, and a record of academic publication contributing to the advancement of the field.

The Senior Lecturer will focus on developing course materials, conducting research activities, and mentoring students. Strong emphasis will be placed on delivering content that combines theoretical principles with practical applications in a laboratory setting. Although this role does not involve managing a team, collaboration with colleagues and participation in departmental activities are essential to foster an enriching learning environment and contribute to the universitys academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical training sessions in medical laboratory technology and clinical laboratory techniques.
• Prepare and update course materials to reflect current advancements and best practices in the field.
• Conduct and contribute to research publications, furthering academic knowledge and supporting the universitys research objectives.
• Guide and mentor students to develop their laboratory skills, critical thinking, and professional behavior.
• Design and organize laboratory experiments ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Stay updated with recent developments in medical laboratory technology and integrate relevant information into teaching.
• Participate in academic committees and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methods and programs.
• Support students academic progress by offering consultation and additional learning resources.
