Riphah International University seeks an experienced Senior Lecturer specializing in Optometry and Orthopotics to contribute to its academic department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical teaching and developing curricula that align with academic and professional standards. With a minimum of three years of lecturing experience, including at least two years as a lecturer, the candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding students through optometric examination techniques and fostering a robust understanding of orthotic practices. This position requires a Master of Science degree in a relevant field along with a record of at least one academic publication, demonstrating commitment to research and scholarly advancement.

The Senior Lecturer will engage students in research methodology and supervise practical applications of clinical skills within the discipline. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the candidate will collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and support the university's mission to advance health sciences education. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions in optometry and orthoptics, ensuring that students master clinical examination techniques and theoretical knowledge.
• Develop, review, and update course curricula to maintain alignment with current academic standards, industry practices, and accreditation requirements.
• Guide and mentor students in research methodology, supporting their scholarly projects and fostering critical thinking skills.
• Contribute to academic research by producing publications, participating in conferences, and advancing the knowledge base within the field of optometry and orthoptics.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, practical exams, and other evaluation methods to ensure educational objectives are met.
