Senior Legal and Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Senior Legal and Compliance Manager (m/f/d) who can take full ownership of regulatory governance, corporate compliance frameworks, and internal risk management systems. You are not just reviewing policies; you are shaping the legal foundation that allows the business to scale safely and confidently. You will work closely with executive leadership, finance, HR, and operations teams to ensure all business activities align with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance Management: Oversee company wide compliance with local Kuwait laws, GCC regulations, and applicable international standards.

Policy Development: Design, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies, governance frameworks, and risk control procedures.

Risk Assessment: Identify legal and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect business continuity.

Contract Oversight: Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership deals.

Internal Audits: Conduct periodic compliance audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Stakeholder Advisory: Provide legal guidance to senior management on business decisions, expansion strategies, and operational structuring.

Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely submission of required reports and maintain accurate compliance documentation.

What We Are Looking For: Experience:

6 plus years in legal, compliance, or corporate governance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial position.

Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Law, Business Law, or related legal discipline. Experience in corporate compliance or multinational environments is highly preferred.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate law, compliance frameworks, AML regulations, and risk management systems.

Communication: Strong ability to explain legal concepts in clear business language to non legal stakeholders.

Mindset: Detail oriented, structured, and proactive. You anticipate risks before they become issues and ensure the business operates with full regulatory confidence.

Pay: KD1,800.000 - KD2,600.000 per month
