About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Head to join our team, reporting directly to the Group Legal Counsel. This pivotal role will lead the legal function, safeguard statutory compliance, manage disputes and contracts, and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.
Responsibilities

Shape and implement legal strategies aligned with business objectives.

Advise senior management on the legal implications of key decisions.

Draft, review, and negotiate strategic business agreements and commercial contracts.

Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple locations.

Manage employment law matters, disciplinary actions, employee disputes, and industrial relations.

Represent the company before labour commissioners and tribunals.

Oversee litigation across civil, criminal, labour, IP, and tax domains, liaising with external counsel as required.

Drive trademark registration, IP protection, and brand safeguarding initiatives.

Support corporate governance and ensure board resolutions are legally compliant.

Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications

LLB/LLM from a reputed university with 12+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in manufacturing or apparel.
Required Skills

Strong expertise in Indian labour laws, industrial relations, export regulations, and environmental laws.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multi‑location legal issues independently with high accountability.
