Senior Legal Counsel 6-Month Contract

We are partnering with a highly dynamic and fast-growing investment and technology-focused organisation in Abu Dhabi to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel on behalf of our client for an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for permanent conversion.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a sophisticated and entrepreneurial business operating across multiple jurisdictions and emerging sectors, including technology, AI, digital assets, financial services, and strategic investments. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in complex, high-value commercial and strategic matters across the region and internationally.

The successful candidate will support the legal function across corporate structuring, commercial contracts, investments, regulatory matters, and strategic business initiatives within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including technology, services, licensing, partnership, and vendor contracts.
• Support corporate structuring, governance, and entity-management matters across UAE and offshore jurisdictions.
• Assist on M&A, strategic investments, and joint-venture transactions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters relating to technology, AI, digital platforms, and emerging business models.
• Coordinate with external counsel and support wider legal and compliance initiatives across the group.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer from a recognised common-law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 8+ years PQE gained within a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment.
• Strong experience across corporate, commercial, and transactional matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience advising on cross-border matters and working within fast-paced environments.
• UAE experience and exposure to technology, fintech, AI, or digital assets would be advantageous.
