M&A Legal Counsel

Our client is a leading global private markets investment manager with a strong focus on infrastructure, unlisted and listed equity, private equity, and debt is looking to place a senior Attorney within their Legal team.

The Role

We are seeking a senior legal professional to support global infrastructure investments, asset management, fundraising, and corporate matters. The role will work closely with investment, asset management, and investor relations teams across multiple regions to deliver on transactions and ongoing portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal and regulatory workstreams on infrastructure transactions, asset management, and corporate projects.
• Advise on structuring, diligence, documentation, and regulatory risk mitigation.
• Partner with cross-regional teams in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to execute transactions and address asset-level matters.
• Support product development, fundraising, and investor initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with evolving legal and regulatory requirements and recommend process improvements.

Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in M&A, private equity, infrastructure, or project finance from a top-tier law firm or in-house role.
• Expertise in U.S. and cross-border transactions, bid processes, and relevant legal documentation.
• JD from a top U.S. law school; NY Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work effectively with global teams.
