Key Responsibilities
1. Litigation Management
Manage end-to-end litigation processes, including filing, tracking, and monitoring cases across courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities.
Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and representation.
Maintain litigation database and provide periodic status reports to management.
2. Drafting & Vetting Legal Documents
Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, lease deeds, vendor contracts, and other commercial/legal documents.
Ensure legal soundness, risk mitigation, and compliance with corporate policies.
Provide legal opinions and advisory support to business and operational teams.
3. Legal Compliance & Metrology
Ensure adherence to Legal Metrology Act, Weights & Measures Rules, and other statutory compliances related to products, packaging, and labeling.
Monitor regulatory updates and implement changes in company policies accordingly.
Assist in audits, inspections, and responses to government notices.
4. Liaisoning with Courts & Authorities
Represent the company before regulators, courts, and statutory authorities, where required.
Liaise with government departments, legal authorities, and industry regulators for smooth resolution of cases and approvals.
Handle RTI applications, notices, summons, and show-cause responses.
5. Internal Legal Support
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, HR, Sales, Operations, etc.) to ensure contractual and statutory safeguards.
Provide training and awareness to internal stakeholders on legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Maintain organized records of all legal documentation, contracts, and compliance filings. Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in litigation handling, drafting, and vetting contracts.
Sound knowledge of Corporate Laws, Civil/Criminal Laws, Contract Act, Companies Act, and Legal Metrology regulations.
Proficiency in legal research, case law analysis, and drafting pleadings.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and advisory skills.
Ability to work independently under deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities. Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree in Law (LLM) preferred.
5 – 8 years of experience in corporate legal, litigation management, and compliance.
Prior exposure in manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods, or industrial sectors is desirable.
Experience in handling Legal Metrology compliance and regulatory matters will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹12,718.86 - ₹32,557.90 per month
