Senior Legal Executive

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
Qualification: LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. preferred from a recognized university

Role Overview

The resource will be part of the in-house legal team and will be responsible for handling end-to-end commercial contracting, legal risk management, regulatory coordination, and internal advisory support. The role requires strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently manage legal matters while aligning with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including NDAs, supply agreements, distribution agreements, service contracts, vendor/customer agreements, and other commercial contracts.
  • Ensure contracts adequately protect the company’s legal and commercial interests while supporting business objectives.
  • Standardize, update, and manage contract templates in line with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Identify contractual risks, suggest mitigation measures, and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
  • Assist in execution, tracking, and renewal of contracts and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

2. Legal Advisory, Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks associated with business operations, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws, commercial laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal developments relevant to the manufacturing and industrial sector and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Support implementation of internal legal processes, compliance frameworks, and best practices to minimize exposure and improve efficiency.
  • Provide timely legal opinions and guidance to business teams on contractual, regulatory, and operational issues.

3. Regulatory Liaison & Internal Coordination

  • Draft and vet liaisoning documents for interaction with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and third-party entities.
  • Act as a legal point of contact for internal departments, ensuring effective coordination and resolution of legal matters.
  • Support interactions with external counsel, consultants, and advisors as required.

4. Legal Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of executed agreements, legal correspondence, and key legal documents.
  • Track key contractual milestones, obligations, renewals, and deadlines.
  • Prepare periodic legal and contract status reports for management, highlighting key risks, issues, and action points.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
