LEGAL MANAGER JD
providing legal advice, managing contracts and litigation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing legal policies for an organization. They also conduct risk assessments, manage legal staff, and liaise with internal departments and external counsel to handle legal matters and mitigate risks.
Key responsibilities
· Legal advice:
Provide legal guidance on a range of issues, including contracts, tenders, and insurance matters to various departments.
· Contract management:
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts to protect the company's interests.
· Litigation management:
Oversee and manage all litigation, working with external lawyers and coordinating with government bodies.
· Regulatory compliance:
Ensure the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
· Risk management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks that could harm the organization.
· Policy development:
Create and implement legal and compliance policies and procedures.
· Legal research:
Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's operations and decision-making.
· Stakeholder communication:
Act as a point of contact for legal queries and communicate with internal departments, external counsel, and other stakeholders.
