Senior Level Full-Stack Developer (Python/Vue)

Slidey is looking for a Senior full-stack developer with deep backend expertise, ready to take ownership of high-impact projects and drive technical excellence across the team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture of our systems, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring we deliver robust, scalable solutions for both internal products and client-facing platforms.

We’re looking for a builder and a leader — someone who doesn’t just write code but thinks strategically, anticipates challenges, and sets the bar high for quality and maintainability.

What You’ll Be Working With

• Backend (Primary Focus): Python (Flask/FastAPI), SQL (no ORM), database design & optimization
• Frontend: Vue 3 + Pinia
• DevOps: Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines
• Architecture: Containerized & scalable microservices
• Work Style: Async-first, results-driven, minimal meetings

You’re a Good Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of experience building and scaling full-stack applications (with significant backend contributions)
• Have expert-level proficiency in Python (Flask/FastAPI) and can design large-scale, testable systems
• Are highly skilled in SQL and comfortable designing complex schemas, optimizing queries, and ensuring database performance without ORMs
• Have experience leading technical decisions, reviewing code, and mentoring mid/junior developers
• Can design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant architectures
• Are confident in building and deploying containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
• Have strong cloud experience (AWS) including scaling, monitoring, and security best practices
• Can work across the stack (Vue 3 + modern JavaScript) to ensure frontend consistency when required
• Thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment and are comfortable driving projects with autonomy

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Redis, or GraphQL
• Background in system design interviews or technical leadership roles
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
