Responsibilities: - Provide expert legal counsel on all aspects of sports law including contracts, sponsorship agreements, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. - Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation related to sports matters. - Draft, review, and manage sports-related contracts and commercial agreements ensuring adherence to legal standards and client interests. - Stay up to date with developments in sports law, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic advice. - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support clients’ business goals and manage risk effectively. - Lead and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to their professional development and fostering a strong team environment. - Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s sports law practice group.
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized institution with admission to practice law in the UAE or equivalent jurisdiction. - Minimum of 7 years of experience specializing in sports law within a top-tier law firm or corporate legal department. - Strong knowledge of UAE sports law regulations, international sports law frameworks, and commercial law. - Demonstrated success in handling complex contracts, negotiations, and dispute resolution in the sports sector. - Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure while managing multiple priorities. - A passion for sports and a commitment to delivering outstanding legal services to clients in this industry.
