Location: Abner Solar

Position Summary :

The Senior Licensed Electrical Technician will support the electrical infrastructure build-out for Abner Solar’s new Greenville-area facility. This role focuses on the installation, supervision, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant power distribution for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, controls, and equipment hookups).
• Interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications while ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Perform field inspections, troubleshooting, system testing, and integration with mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and MEP teams to maintain project timelines.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards and assist in training less experienced team members.
• Prepare as-built documentation, test reports, and support system handover.

Qualifications :

• Valid South Carolina Electrical Contractor License (or Journeyman/Master Electrician License).
• 5+ years of industrial electrical construction or maintenance experience, with preference for manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency with industrial electrical equipment, controls, and testing instruments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills; bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred.
• Physically fit for construction site work.

Salary range:

• Senior Electrical Technicians $24–$32/hour
