About Us:

Events To Remember - E2R is a leading provider of cutting-edge event management solutions and production technology services. We are currently seeking for a highly skilled and savvy Senior Light Head to join our team. If you have adequate experience in working on Lighting Setups, supervising the lighting crew, ensuring proper installation, programming,and Operations for Mid to Large-scale events with the objective to provide the highest standard of service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating lighting equipment such as dimmers and switches in order to create different effects.

2. Calibrating light levels to ensure proper illumination for different environments.

3. Working with production designers to create lighting plans for each scene.

4. Installing lighting fixtures in fixed locations such as ceilings or walls, or moving them from location to location as needed.

5. Setting up and operating special effects lighting equipment such as spotlights, strobes, fog machines, and colored gels.

6. Observing the audience’s reaction to the lighting to determine if adjustments are needed.

7. Repairing or replacing light bulbs or tubes in light fixtures, or replacing entire light fixtures when needed.

8. Maintaining a log of all activities performed by the lighting technician including measurements, settings, and changes made to the lighting setup.

9. Working with automated fixtures and Digital Processors and Controllers.

10. Programming and Operating various Consoles.

11. Coordinating with a team of Technicians and Crew onsite when necessary.

12. Maintaining the lighting equipment in good, safe and efficient working condition.

13. Prepping equipment for a project at the Company's warehouse facilities.

14. Assist in loading and unloading equipment.

15. Assume additional duties as needed.

• Excellent understanding of the technical requirements needed to deliver quality lighting outputs in all formats and associated equipment.
• Good understanding of events and event technology.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.

Requirements:

1. 2-3+ years of previous experience in a similar role.

2. Notable knowledge of lighting equipment installation and operation.

3. Technical understanding of computer systems is an asset.

4. Knowledge of modern lighting system.

5. A keen eye for detail.

6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.

7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

8. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.

9. High level of physical capability to be able to kneel, work at height, and lift related equipment.

10. Can communicate in English.
