Smith Foster King is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join its team. The Firm primarily offers plaintiff-side representation, focusing on claims involving personal injury, employment discrimination, elder abuse, and wrongful death. The role includes responsibility for tracking, organizing, reviewing, and summarizing key discovery, including medical records. It also includes working with and helping train a junior paralegal, and support in drafting, filing, and service of legal documents, and corresponding with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Education/Experience:
· 5+ years litigation/trial experience

· Well organized, with ability to multitask in high-volume, fast-paced environment
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to work and stay focused in high pressure situations
· Curious, with developed research and analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidences
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Review, summarize, and track voluminous discovery
· Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence
· Compile and prepare draft discovery responses
· Conduct case-related research and investigations
· Coordinate discovery requests and documents between multiple parties
· Update and maintain internal databases, including SharePoint, OneNote, and OneDrive
· Assist with trial preparation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
