Job Summary
The Executive Director oversees day-to-day community operations, compliance, staffing, resident care coordination, and family relations. You will also collaborate with ownership on business planning, census development, and ensuring a high-quality living environment that supports the independence, safety, and well-being of each resident.
This is an opportunity for a motivated administrator who thrives in a smaller, more agile family-run organization rather than a rigid corporate structure.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Manage daily operations in full compliance with Title 22, RCFE regulations, and internal policies.
- Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and service delivery.
- Maintain facility documentation, reporting, and readiness for licensing visits.
Staff Management & Culture
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure adequate and consistent staffing levels.
- Build a positive, team-oriented culture with high engagement and accountability.
- Provide ongoing coaching to promote professional growth and service excellence.
Resident & Family Relations
- Build strong relationships with residents and families through communication, transparency, and personal involvement.
- Support care plans and collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and social workers.
Census, Admissions & Marketing
- Work with ownership on local outreach strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
- Conduct tours, engage with families, and present the community with warmth and professionalism.
- Assist in managing inquiries, assessments, and move-ins.
Financial & Business Planning
- Monitor budgets, expenses, staffing levels, and financial performance.
- Support the development and execution of annual business goals.
- Review financial statements and help align operations with budgetary targets.
Community Representation
- Serve as the community liaison to local agencies, referral partners, hospitals, and placement professionals.
- Represent CCAG Hospitality with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Requirements
- Active RCFE Administrator Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (healthcare, psychology, gerontology, business, or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RCFE Administrator or Executive Director.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to interpret financials, manage budgets, and support census growth.
- Live Scan clearance, TB test, CPR/First Aid, and Health Screening required.
