CSI – a custom hardware/software engineering company headquartered in Richardson, TX, is seeking a talented Senior Logistician. This position leverages operational experience to impact mission-critical NC3 systems and ensure the next generation of warfighter is prepared for evolving challenges. Here's a breakdown of the key elements of this role:
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and analyze a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plan that includes current and forecasted inventories of Commercial Of-The-Shelf (COTS) items and repackaged COTS items to provide solutions for current and future obsolescence.
- Plan and execute logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of Product Lifecycle Management (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements and implement a plan of action and milestones of the logistics program.
- Develop, manage, and assist in contract requirements technical documentation (i.e. Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Supplier Data Requirements List, and Performance Work Statements (PWS)) to support systems engineering, acquisition, and sustainment phases.
- Develop and deliver product Service Bulletins to customers/stakeholders that identify the background, scope of effort, justification, and risk of non-implementation.
- Participate in the Configuration Management Process by reviewing and submitting all associated documentation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Configuration Control Boards (CCB) Presentations and Technical Directives.
- Participate in risk management processes and early identification of system integration risks.
- You will establish a robust total cost of ownership effort and develop affordable readiness initiatives, where appropriate, to reduce life-cycle costs.
- Prepare and / or deliver presentations to customers / stakeholders to address support posture and justify logistics requirements.
- Collect and report, timely and reliable contract cost, technical, logistics and programmatic data by fiscal year/lot (Material Data Reporting).
- Develop, update, and implement a detailed Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
- Defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans to ensure program objectives are met.
The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years with DoD operational aircraft
- Served as a DoD Logistics Manager GS-0346 or equivalent
- Defense Acquisition University Lifecyle Logistics Level II Certification
- Familiar with DoDI 5000.2 “Operations of the Defense Acquisition System” series
- Familiarity with USN policy, procedures, and instructions
- TS/SCI clearance
- Strong background in the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements: Product Support Management, Design Interface, Facilities and Infrastructure, IT Systems Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Manpower and Personnel, Packaging Handling Shipping and Transportation, Supply Support, Support Equipment, Sustaining Engineering, Tech Data Management, and Training and Training Support.
- Strong background in contractual deliverable reporting functions including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Mean Time Between Failure/Mean Time to Repair MTBF/MTTR analysis, platform specific spares analysis

- Show initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
- Deliver well-defined written products and professional presentation skills for briefings/meetings, including demonstrated ability to present information to Finance lead analyst and manager
- Perform other duties as required
