Senior Loss Prevention Engineer Job Description

Penspen () is looking for a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer to be based in KSA. The role may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The position is to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia, with possible assignment in Al Khobar during project execution.

Responsibilities

• Check, review and approve all technical safety deliverables by FEED/EPC contractor.
• Review and approve Fire Water network calculations and fire water demand.
• Review and approve Fire & Gas detection systems.
• Review and approve passive fire protection systems.
• Review and approve fire water tanks, pumps, water mist systems.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

At least twelve (12) years of experience; six (6) of which within the field of Safety / Loss prevention for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects or closely related project types.

PMC experience at a similar role for several years is preferable.

Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.

Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a closely related Engineering discipline.
