Senior Maintenance Technician

In California, LEEF is not establishing credibility — we are defending and expanding it. This role is designed for a high-performing sales professional who understands scale, margin, and the complexity of operating in the most competitive cannabis market in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on lab extraction equipment and facility vehicles
  • Construct and assemble new manufacturing equipment and support custom fabrication projects as needed
  • Commission new equipment, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with operations standards
  • Collaborate closely with management to assess, plan and implement equipment upgrades and process improvements
  • Maintain inventory and ensure all necessary parts, tools and consumable are available for both scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks
  • Utilize strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime
  • Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to support repair and installation tasks
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and documentation using computer systems
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and optimize equipment performance
  • Uphold all safety standards and ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and schematics interpretation
  • Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently
  • Strong communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
