Senior Management Consultant

JOB OVERVIEW:
ENTREPRENEURSHIP experience REQUIRED. We're opening 3 offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.

As a Senior Management Consultant at Burning Issues Group (BIG Advisors), you will be driving the full Client journey—starting with the opening sale with initial strategic planning and culminating with effectual implementation and long-term Client support.

This limited base plus commission role rewards passionate networkers and strategic thinkers who embody our 4-E Consultant model: Entrepreneur (visioning growth), Executive (strategic planning), Empathy (Client pain mapping), and Eager (drive to succeed).

You'll leverage tools like PDCA cycles, Theory of Constraints (TOC), and KPI development and tracking with the goal of delivering transformative results within our BIG-5 framework (Leadership, Operations, Sales, Finance, Culture). The Senior Management Consultant position is ideal for professionals with a blend of entrepreneurial experience, consulting expertise, financial acumen, and a personal commitment to Client success.

PRIMARY DUTIES (REQUIRED):

  • Client Journey Management: Oversee the end-to-end client experience. Uncover and prioritize Client issues we call Burning Platform Issues (BPIs) using our BIGcheck360 diagnostic framework, and completing the Clients' custom BIGplan deliverables.
  • Implementation and Mentoring: Work embedded within Clients' senior management teams (SMT) to implement advising services as well as mentor them through behavioral changes, installing sustainable systems, and guiding the organization to independently run PDCA cycles and TOC. Foster discipline, clarity, and progress tracking via S.M.A.R.T. goals, KPI's, and other metrics.
  • Philosophy Alignment: Reflect BIG's core philosophy of the BIG-5 framework and 4-E Advisor model. Contribute to our BIG community by embodying our mission and delivering high-impact services.

OTHER DUTIES (NOT REQUIRED, but RECOMMENDED):

  • Lead Generation: If you desire, you will have the opportunity for generous additional compensation by performing local networking to identify and cultivate warm high-quality leads. Prioritize building relationships with key business community influencers and professionals to cultivate warm introductions and opportunities, thus managing the sales process from initial pitch to Client engagement.
  • BIGboard Facilitation and Support: Prepare Clients for enrollment in the BIGboard community. Participate in BIGboard sessions, including KPI reviews and peer brainstorming. Assist in developing BIGboard agenda templates and Client retention playbooks to ensure ongoing alignment with Client-First Transformation principles.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Successful entrepreneurial experience in business creation and management.
  • Proven business development and/or consulting experience with a track record of driving business transformation.
  • Knowledge of strategic frameworks such as PDCA, TOC, and KPI tracking.
  • Exceptional networking skills with a passion for building local relationships and generating warm leads.
  • Empathetic mindset with the ability to map Client pain points and mentor teams through change.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
