JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing is an intermediate-level leadership role responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction to a team of digital marketing professionals. This position ensures that business objectives are achieved across one or more functional areas, including paid media, SEO, content strategy and performance analytics. This role requires advanced technical expertise in digital platforms and marketing technologies, along with a strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works with colleagues in marketing and across the organization to improve web strategy in alignment with One Call's strategic plan
  • Develops and strengthens the company's digital voice and unique messaging to build brand awareness, relevance, reputation among target audiences and ensures that brand standards are maintained across all digital channels
  • Takes the lead in developing and executing effective digital communication strategies across onecallcm.com and email channels
  • Analyzes content performance via data analytics and provides constructive guidance and recommendations on initiative performance to drive thoughtful on-site and off-site update recommendations and optimizations.
  • Leads digital marketing strategies across online advertising, social media and video, including but not limited to digital listings and reputation management
  • Integrates digital media marketing plans with master marketing and editorial calendars
  • Works with creative services to ensure appropriate digital media assets are created for all marketing campaigns
  • Deploys content across various digital media channels
  • Manages the digital annual budget and reports on actual spend vs budget monthly
  • Helps to oversee management of Salesforce/HubSpot
  • Owns Project Management system on behalf of department, ensuring workflows are appropriately setup, new project requests flow to the appropriate team member and automations are in place
  • Owns Marketing Dashboard to track departmental KPIs, results and data
Website:
  • Manages day-to-day operation of onecallcm.com, including templates, responsive design, dynamic content and text/graphical elements
  • Analyzes SEO performance data and provides ongoing recommendations to improve organic visibility across all web properties
  • Works with digital and web partner agencies to ensure work is done on time and within budget.
  • Manages a queue of projects of varying scope and complexity, serving as first point of contact for incoming website requests
  • Understands and applies content strategies to drive search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic placement of onecallcm.com in search engines
  • Applies discipline in analytics and traffic measurement that enables continuous improvement and conversion gains
  • Works with marketing, product and sales to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and then monitors conversion funnels
  • Troubleshoots content management systems, provides first-level technical support and help other teams (product, sales, etc.) update their web presence as appropriate
  • Communicates project status with internal stakeholders and marketing teammates
  • Collaborates with partners to improve system integrations, forms, data standardization and all other technological needs
  • Collaborates with partners to create comprehensive online form strategy to standardize data collection, storage, security and reporting
  • Collaborates with partners to develop new page types for consistency and usefulness as needed
  • Adheres to online style guide to support One Call's branding initiatives
  • Creates photo galleries, animation and embed video as needed
  • Supports the execution of One Call's paid search, display, behavioral targeted and remarketing strategies
Email:
  • Leads the development and maintenance of email campaign best practices for One Call
  • Develops and executes umbrella email marketing strategies to streamline, standardize and improve outbound email marketing campaigns across the organization that target different audiences
  • Provides email marketing support - including HTML creation
  • Leads the organization through an evaluation, selection and redeployment of its outbound email marketing solutions
  • Applies discipline in analytics and traffic measurement that enables continuous improvement and conversion gains
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in related field is preferable.
  • Seven years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a capacity of managing complex digital campaigns and teams.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Working knowledge of various web content management systems, combined with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems; Knowledge of Wordpress a plus!
  • Salesforce and HubSpot experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with common internet technologies including XSLT, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience creating HTML emails
  • Familiarity with ASP, XML, JQuery, Quicktime, PHP, .net and relational databases
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong writing for digital performance
  • Familiarity with project documentation protocols for project timelines; purpose and objectives, business requirements, technical specifications and request for proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply best practices in content strategy to positively affect SEO
  • Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to interpret data and use it to drive actionable recommendations
  • Experience using media management/site analytics tools such as: Google Analytics, WebTrends, Adobe Digital Marketing Suite, Omniture, HitWise, Quantcast
  • Demonstrated experience working with social media at an organizational level
  • Ability to successfully multi-task many projects of various sizes and priorities simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of the project management lifecycle, including experience leading all phases (initiation, planning, execution, closure, evaluation)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and customer service skills that translate to all levels of the organization, including both functional and technical colleagues
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with proven ability to deliver projects on time
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work independently. Ideal candidates will demonstrate history of taking ownership while going beyond assigned tasks to deliver excellent results
  • Outgoing personality and collaborative spirit required to build and maintain positive working relationships with multiple departments, personalities and vendors

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position will be performed in the colleague's home. Work-from-home requirements include the colleague's ability to set up computer equipment within their home office.
  • This job is primarily sedentary and may involve repetitive motions; the colleague must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, operate a computer and other office equipment, assess information and files stored electronically, and converse/exchange accurate information with others, simultaneously.
