The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key products for the construction cluster.
This role leads the translation of customer needs and business objectives into high-impact solutions. It owns outcomes across the product lifecycle-from discovery and validation through delivery, go-to-market, and iteration-ensuring measurable improvements in customer value, revenue growth, retention, and operational efficiency.
Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, the Senior Product Manager aligns stakeholders, prioritizes the right investments, and delivers products that are scalable, usable, and commercially successful.
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities StrategicOwn and evolve the product vision and multi quarter strategy for a defined product area, ensuring alignment with company goals, positioning, and customer needs. Translate business objectives into a clear, prioritized product roadmap with measurable outcomes such as ARR, activation, retention, margin, NPS, and adoption. Lead customer and market discovery to identify problems worth solving, validate demand, and define differentiated value propositions. Conduct competitive and market analysis to anticipate trends, identify opportunities and risks, and inform strategic decisions. Drive strategic prioritization across initiatives using data, customer impact, engineering effort, and commercial value; make trade offs explicit and transparent.
OperationalLead end to end product delivery for the product area, partnering with Engineering and Design to move from problem definition to shipped, measurable outcomes. Own and maintain the product backlog: write clear epics and user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure prioritization reflects strategy and current performance data. Facilitate core delivery rituals-planning, refinement, standups, sprint reviews, retros-and ensure teams have clarity on scope, sequencing, and dependencies. Create high quality product requirements and artifacts (PRDs, user journeys, wireframes and flows in partnership with Design, release notes, FAQs) to support execution. Partner with UX Research and Data/Analytics to define instrumentation, dashboards, and reporting; ensure decisions are grounded in customer insights and performance metrics. Coordinate cross functional execution for releases (Engineering, QA, Security, Legal/Compliance, Operations, Support), ensuring readiness and smooth rollouts. Manage stakeholder communications: provide regular updates, align expectations, and document decisions, trade offs, and changes to scope and timelines.
People ManagementBuild team capability through mentoring on product strategy, prioritization, experimentation, customer discovery, analytics, and stakeholder management. Create a high performing team culture grounded in accountability, transparency, customer obsession, and measurable outcomes.
Product/Process ImprovementEstablish and continuously improve product development practices across discovery, delivery, and iteration (e.g., dual track discovery, hypothesis driven development, experimentation). Standardize core product artifacts and documentation (PRDs, success metrics, customer journeys, release notes) to improve clarity, quality, and handoffs. Strengthen feedback loops from Sales, Support, and Customer Success; ensure customer issues and insights are captured, triaged, and actioned systematically. Drive improvements in measurement and analytics: define instrumentation standards, improve event tracking quality, and increase adoption of dashboards for decision making.
Key Performance MeasuresBusiness / Commercial Outcomes - Revenue impact: ARR/MRR influenced, expansion/upsell revenue, conversion to paid. Operational Efficiency - Track digital transformation impact on operations.
Customer Outcomes - Adoption: feature adoption rate, active usage, time to first value, activation rate. Retention: churn rate, renewal rate, cohort retention, stickiness (DAU/MAU where relevant). Satisfaction: NPS, CSAT, CES, product reviews/ratings, qualitative customer sentiment.
Product Outcomes - Delivery of roadmap outcomes: % initiatives meeting defined success criteria (not just shipped). Experimentation effectiveness: experiment velocity, win rate, measured impact per experiment. Quality and reliability (if applicable): defect rate, incident volume, uptime/SLA adherence.
