Senior Manager – Land Acquisition & Legal

Salary: ₹15,00,000 – ₹17,00,000 per annum

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Land Acquisition & Legal to lead end-to-end land acquisition, legal compliance, and liaison activities for our organization. The role involves managing land procurement, handling legal matters, and coordinating with government authorities to support project expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complete land acquisition process for new and existing projects
• Conduct legal due diligence: title verification, ownership checks, encumbrances
• Review land revenue records (7/12, mutation entries, maps, DILR, village forms)
• Negotiate with landowners, farmers, villagers for purchase/lease/ROW
• Manage NA conversion, TP approvals, ROW permissions, survey procedures
• Resolve land disputes, encroachment, boundary issues
• Liaison with government authorities (Mamlatdar, Talati, Tehsildar, Collector, DILR, Panchayat, Secretariat)
• Draft & review legal documents: Sale/Lease deeds, MOUs, Agreements, Notices, Affidavits
• Ensure legal & statutory compliance (land & industrial regulations)
• Support litigation coordination with external advocates

Experience Required:

• 10–20 years in Land Acquisition & Legal roles
• Strong knowledge of Gujarat land laws & government processes
• Experience in revenue laws, NA conversion, ROW, dispute resolution
• Industry Experience Preferred: Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Cement, Real Estate, Energy, EPC, Wind/Solar

Skills & Competencies:

• Gujarati proficiency (read/write/speak) – Mandatory
