GA Rogers & Associates has partnered with a North Dallas client who is looking to add
a strategic
Procurement Leader
to join their dynamic team.
This key role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the sourcing & purchasing for both product and services for locations throughout the United States.
The ideal candidate will come with a proven track record of driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and implementing best-in-class procurement practices.
This position is located onsite near Addison, Texas and offers impressive benefits, unlimited PTO and competitive earning potential ($100,000-$130,000).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership:

Execute a comprehensive, procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and financial targets.

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement function, monitoring and reporting on savings, supplier performance, and process compliance.
Sourcing & Supplier Management:

Oversee all strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier selection across direct and indirect spend categories.

Manage critical vendor relationships, establishing strong, mutually beneficial partnerships to secure favorable terms, quality, and delivery schedules.

Develop and implement a robust Supplier Risk Management program.
Process & Systems Optimization:

Drive efficiency by standardizing and automating procurement processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, e-sourcing).

Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.

Collaborate with Finance to manage budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of procurement savings and expenditures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Legal teams to understand business needs and ensure procurement efforts support strategic projects and product development.
Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5
+ years
of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

Minimum of
3+ years
in a leadership or management role.

Proven ability to deliver significant, sustainable cost reductions.

Skills:

Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.

Deep understanding of market analysis, competitive bidding, and total cost of ownership (TCO) principles.

Familiarity with modern ERP systems and e-Procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
