Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-driven Senior Manager – Biscuit Operations to oversee the entire operations of our biscuit manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, quality, maintenance, safety, manpower planning, and overall operational efficiency. This is a strategic role involving regular plant visits, operational planning, and leadership to ensure seamless biscuit production aligned with company standards and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of biscuit manufacturing operations at the plant.
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
• Monitor day-to-day plant activities including production, quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain, and dispatch.
• Conduct regular visits to the plant for review, audits, and process improvements.
• Implement best practices for operational efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, EHS (Environment, Health, Safety), and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to maintain product standards and handle non-conformances.
• Plan and manage manpower deployment and training in coordination with HR.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain for raw material planning and inventory control.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the plant operations.
• Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and performance monitoring through KPIs.
• Prepare regular reports on plant performance for senior management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, preferably in biscuit or food processing industry.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and compliance.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in plant operations, audits, and process optimization.
• Willingness to travel to the plant location periodically.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
