Senior Lead RBWM Performance and Partnership supports in driving operational performance, process efficiency, and workforce effectiveness across retail banking operations in international markets. The role ensures improved service quality, cost efficiency, and productivity while maintaining alignment with the Group’s operational strategy and transformation agenda. A key responsibility is to build and strengthen partnerships between international retail operations and business stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence and support for business growth objectives.

COO International oversees operational strategy, customer experience, and property management across the bank’s international markets. The unit aligns International COOs with Group standards, operational excellence, and efficient delivery of business priorities. It also supports Emirates NBD Group COO and Group CHRO in developing, driving, and delivering effective governance, robust risk management across the Group COO Functions alongside seamless execution of COO International Strategic Programmes and Key Initiatives aligning with the Bank’s vision and operational aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess operational performance across markets.
  • Identify improvement levers.
  • Coordinate implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with retail banking leadership and operational teams across international markets.
  • Align operational support with business growth priorities and customer experience goals.
  • Drive process simplification and standardization across countries.
  • Support workforce planning and optimization across retail operations and ensure appropriate resourcing and capability to meet service and efficiency targets.
  • Collaborate with transformation teams to implement scalable operating models.
  • Maintain oversight of retail operations performance.
  • Prepare regular management reporting and insights to support decision-making
  • Work closely with international operational teams and risk partners to strengthen controls, address operational gaps, and embed a culture of risk awareness.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of Professional Experience in banking operations within retail banking.
  • Proven experience in Performance Management Process I mprovement, and Stakeholder Management within COO or transformation function.
  • Exposure to international or multi-market operational structures
  • Professional certifications (e.g.Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or operational excellence) are desirable.
  • Strong background in Retail Operations with Business Front Line - RBWM Products & Transformation.
  • Strategic execution.
  • Collaboration and partnership across diverse markets and functions.
