Position:

Senior Manager Transport

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing food & beverage company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Senior Manager Transport at its Karachi office.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Transport Management or a related field
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in the automobile and transport industry
• Proven expertise in managing large fleets, including trucks, cars, and motorcycles

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage group-wide transport and fleet operations
• Ensure efficient vehicle maintenance, maximum fleet uptime, and effective cost control
• Monitor diesel consumption, fuel efficiency, and operational KPIs
• Develop and upgrade workshops/super-workshops to enhance service delivery
• Oversee after-sales services, dealer coordination, and warranty settlements
• Implement SOPs and best practices to improve fleet safety and operational performance
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance reviews
• Supervise, train, and manage technical teams and workshop staff
• Develop and implement the annual transport strategy aligned with the company’s operational and commercial objectives
• Manage a diverse fleet of 390+ vehicles
• Establish route optimization, load efficiency, and zero-empty-return policies to maximize fleet utilization
• Set, monitor, and report key KPIs, including fuel efficiency (KM/L), fleet availability, MTTR, and accident rates
