Location: Cairo, Egypt Type of Contract: Individual Contract Duration of Initial Contract: One Year, renewable

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute marketing communications strategies aligned with dcarbon global’s sustainability mission
  • Manage brand positioning and messaging across all channels
  • Create compelling narratives around sustainability, ESG, and climate change for diverse audiences
  • Monitor brand health and provide data-driven recommendations

Content Development & Thought Leadership

  • Create high-quality content: white papers, case studies, blog posts, reports, newsletters, and presentations
  • Develop thought leadership content for CEO and senior team
  • Translate complex sustainability concepts (GRI, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2, EPD, SDGs) into accessible content
  • Manage editorial calendar and content workflow

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee website, LinkedIn, and social media platforms
  • Drive digital campaigns for awareness, leads, and engagement
  • Manage SEO/SEM strategies
  • Analyze metrics and optimize campaigns

Stakeholder Engagement & Public Relations

  • Build relationships with media and industry publications
  • Coordinate press releases and media interviews
  • Manage communications for announcements, partnerships, and client success stories

Marketing Campaigns & Events

  • Design integrated marketing campaigns for services and training programs
  • Support event marketing for conferences and workshops
  • Develop promotional materials and presentations
  • Coordinate participation in industry forums

Crisis & Sensitive Communication

  • Support in managing crisis communications, ensuring professional, timely, and sensitive responses to reputational challenges.
  • Anticipate potential communication risks and advise leadership on proactive strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 4 – 6 years of proven experience in communications, preferably within sustainability, consultancy, or corporate environments.
  • Strong expertise in sustainability/ESG communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English (Arabic/French is a plus).
  • Experience in managing media relations and executing digital/social media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with experience supervising teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
