Senior Marketing Coordinator

Watson-Forsberg is currently seeking a full-time Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

Job Title: Senior Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: VP of Business Development and Marketing

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

FLSA Exempt Status: Exempt

Type of Position: Full-time

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000, DOQ

Travel Requirements: Minimal overnight, may require occasional job-site visits in the Twin Cities metro area.

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, this role is responsible for driving the execution of marketing and pursuit efforts across the firm. The Senior Marketing Coordinator manages the day-to-day pursuit process, coordinates team contributions, and produces high-quality deliverables, while supporting the VP in implementing strategy, messaging, and positioning.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the pursuit process for RFP and RFQ responses—owning timelines, coordinating contributions across business development, estimating and operations, and producing final deliverables—while supporting the VP in shaping strategy, messaging, and content
  • Drive pursuit schedules and accountability, ensuring all contributors are aligned, deadlines are met, and business submissions are complete, accurate, and high quality
  • Develop and produce marketing materials including project profiles, resumes, presentations, and pursuit collateral, aligned with leadership direction
  • Support written content development and lead visual layout/design, ensuring materials are clear, compelling, and consistent with brand standards
  • Coordinate and produce interview materials, including presentations and leave-behinds, and support leadership in preparation and delivery
  • Manage and execute awards submissions from initial strategy through final submittal
  • Drive social media and digital content efforts, including content creation, coordination, and scheduling
  • Maintain and evolve marketing collateral and brand standards across all platforms
  • Coordinate company and project photography, ensuring strong visual storytelling and organization of assets
  • Lead website updates and content management
  • Coordinate with third-party consultants and vendors, as needed

Business Development Coordination & Support:

  • Maintain and actively manage a centralized pursuits and marketing calendar, including proposals, events, awards, and key deadlines
  • Support CRM management, including opportunity entry, tracking, and reporting for pursuits and client activity
  • Coordinate and support participation in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities that align with business development goals
  • Coordinate logistics and execution for BD & marketing events, including planning, materials, and team participation

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the construction, architecture, or related industry
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience using Adobe InDesign (required)
  • Proven experience leading or heavily contributing to RFP/RFQ proposals
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for visual presentation
  • Experience developing marketing content across multiple platforms (print, digital, social)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tracking tools
  • Working knowledge of the construction industry strongly preferred, including terminology and proposal processes

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment with extensive telephone, copier, scanner, printer, computer, and keyboard usage. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels and other items up to 25 pounds and to walk short distances. Must have the ability to drive a vehicle to attend meetings and deliver or pick up materials. The person in this position frequently communicates with staff, vendors and customers and must be able to exchange and communicate accurate information in these situations.
