ABOUT THE ROLE

Techno is looking for a driven and creative Senior Marketing & Pursuit Coordinator to help advance our growth across transportation, water, facilities, and public infrastructure markets. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys crafting compelling content, and understands how strategic messaging contributes to winning work.

Working closely with senior leadership, technical experts, and business development professionals, you will play an integral role in positioning the firm for success through proposal development, brand management, pursuit support, and client engagement initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Coordinate and produce proposals, statements of qualifications, interview presentations, and other pursuit-related deliverables from kickoff through submission.
• Collaborate with technical staff and leadership teams to develop persuasive content tailored to specific clients, agencies, and opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance marketing resources including project profiles, staff resumes, firm qualifications, and other business development materials.
• Develop original written content for proposals, executive summaries, project sheets, award submissions, brochures, and client-facing communications.
• Support capture planning efforts by helping identify key differentiators, strategic messaging, and visual concepts that strengthen pursuit strategies.
• Assist with market research, opportunity tracking, and client relationship initiatives to support overall business development goals.
• Contribute to the management of corporate communications, including website content, digital marketing initiatives, and social media platforms.
• Ensure all materials meet quality standards, branding requirements, and submission guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support to junior marketing team members while helping improve internal proposal and marketing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of marketing, proposal coordination, or business development support experience.
• Experience supporting pursuits within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry will be prioritized.
• Demonstrated success preparing proposals and qualifications packages for public sector agencies and private-sector clients.
• Familiarity with New York and New Jersey public agency procurement processes is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related discipline preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
• Familiarity with website content management platforms and digital marketing tools is beneficial.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 100,000 USD per year (New York Office)

65,000 - 95,000 USD per year (New Jersey Office)
