Overview

We are looking for a driven and passionate Senior Marketing Designer to join our creative team – someone who understands that great ad creative isn't just beautiful, it performs.

In this role, you'll lead the design and execution of digital campaigns for a range of clients across paid social, emails, landing pages, and broader campaign systems. You'll not only execute exceptional creative—you'll help shape campaign concepts, elevate design systems, and guide the production of marketing creative across channels.

This is a role for someone who has strong opinions about what makes an ad work, can articulate that thinking clearly to clients and teammates, and brings the same level of craft to a quick-turn Meta ad as they do to a full campaign build. You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to translate strategy into compelling visual campaigns, thrive in collaborative environments, and bring a thoughtful, performance-driven mindset to every project.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Marketing Designer, you'll lead campaign creative across channels, contribute to concepting, and help raise the bar on what marketing work looks like at Anchour.

Lead Campaign Creative: Develop and execute high-quality digital campaign creative across channels, including paid social, display, email marketing, and landing pages. Maintain visual consistency while adapting work for performance across platforms.

Concept & Shape Campaign Ideas: Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, and marketers to develop campaign concepts and creative directions that align with client goals and resonate with target audiences.

Design for Performance: Bring a data-informed eye to creative decisions — understanding platform behavior, format best practices, and what drives engagement across Meta, Google Display, and beyond.

Elevate Creative Systems: Think beyond the single asset. Build and extend campaign systems that hold together across formats, placements, and scale.

Design High-Impact Ads: Create compelling static and animated ad creative that balances strong visual storytelling with performance marketing best practices.

Craft Engaging Email Campaigns: Design marketing emails and templates that are visually compelling, strategically structured, and built for how people actually read email.

Guide Campaign Production: Oversee and support the production of campaign deliverables, ensuring designs are executed accurately and efficiently across all formats and placements.

Present & Defend Compelling Work: Bring your thinking into the room. Articulate creative rationale and strategic decisions clearly to clients and internal teams.

Refine Creative Through Feedback: Iterate and refine your work based on client and leadership feedback, strategic objectives, and performance insights, ensuring all final deliverables meet the highest creative standards.

Manage Project Load: Balance multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously explore emerging digital trends, platform changes, and creative processes to help push our work forward.

What We'd Like To See

  • Experience: 5+ years designing campaign creative at a digital or creative agency, with a portfolio that shows range across paid social, email, display, and landing pages.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Animation Skills: Ability to bring static designs to life with light motion using After Effects or similar tools.
  • Platform Fluency: Solid working knowledge of best practices, technical specs, and campaign objectives for Meta and Google Display.
  • AI-Integrated Workflow: You're actively using AI tools in your creative process, for concepting, image generation, or production, and you can show how it's made your work sharper without sacrificing craft.
  • Design Fundamentals: A strong eye for typography, grid systems, color theory, information hierarchy, and composition, and the instincts to know when to follow the rules and when to break them.
  • Systems Thinker: You design campaigns, not just assets. Your work holds together across formats, placements, and scale.
  • High Standards, Small Details: You sweat the details and self-edit well. You bring the same level of care to a quick-turn ad as you do to a full campaign.
  • Self-Starter: You take initiative, manage your own workload, and drive projects from concept to completion without needing to be pushed.
  • Collaborative and Direct: You work well with copywriters, strategists, and clients. You speak up when you have questions, take feedback well, and make the people around you better.
