Position Summary
The Senior Marketing & Development Manager is responsible for leading CIDA's marketing, fundraising, donor engagement, sponsorship development, and community outreach efforts. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position will develop and implement strategies that increase organizational visibility, strengthen community partnerships, diversify revenue sources, and support the long-term sustainability of CIDA's programs and initiatives.
The position combines marketing, development, event management, partnership cultivation, and strategic growth responsibilities, with a focus on advancing CIDA's mission and expanding opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Essential Responsibilities: Marketing & Communications
- Develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans.
- Strengthen CIDA's brand awareness and public visibility.
- Oversee social media, newsletters, website content, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop compelling stories and impact-focused communications highlighting program outcomes and participant success.
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend strategies to increase engagement and reach.
Fundraising & Development
- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Cultivate and steward individual donors, sponsors, and community supporters.
- Assist with major donor cultivation and sponsorship development.
- Manage donor communications, fundraising appeals, and stewardship activities.
- Maintain donor records and track fundraising performance.
Corporate Partnerships & Community Relations
- Build relationships with businesses, community organizations, and civic leaders.
- Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities aligned with CIDA's mission.
- Represent CIDA at community events, networking opportunities, and public engagements.
- Support the development of collaborative initiatives that increase community awareness and engagement.
Events & Special Initiatives
- Lead planning and execution of fundraising events, sponsorship activities, and donor cultivation events.
- Manage event marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate volunteers, vendors, and event committees as needed.
Strategic Growth & Innovation
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify and develop new fundraising, marketing, sponsorship, and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Support the growth and promotion of CIDA initiatives and future mission-aligned projects.
- Research emerging trends, partnership opportunities, and innovative approaches that strengthen organizational sustainability and community impact.
- Assist in developing strategies that expand earned-income, philanthropic, and community-supported revenue sources.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, fundraising, business development, communications, or nonprofit management.
- Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, sponsorship development, marketing campaigns, or partnership building.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, disability, education, workforce development, arts, or community-based organizations.
- Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, email marketing, and social media platforms.
- Experience managing consultants, interns, volunteers, or project teams.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
