Job Overview
The Zone Marketing In-Charge / Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing marketing operations across assigned zones such as Gold Souq and other high-business regions. This role requires deep market understanding, strong leadership, and the ability to execute marketing and sales strategies aligned with jewellery retail, wholesale, bullion, and silver segments.
Key Responsibilities
Zone-Level Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement zone-specific marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and sales performance.
- Monitor competition, pricing trends, and customer behaviour in Gold Souq and surrounding areas.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns targeted at the local market and tourist segments.
Business Growth & Sales Support
- Coordinate closely with retail and wholesale teams to generate leads, boost conversions, and support sales objectives.
- Identify business opportunities, potential clients, and partnerships within the assigned zones.
- Drive customer footfall and ensure high engagement levels in all outlets under the zone.
Market Research & Intelligence
- Conduct continuous field visits to gather market insights, competitor promotional activities, and product demand trends.
- Analyze market data and recommend actionable strategies to management.
Branding & Merchandising
- Ensure all stores follow brand standards for displays, visual merchandising, and promotional placements.
- Manage marketing materials such as banners, digital screens, catalogs, and product information tools.
Events & Campaigns
- Lead and coordinate zone-level events, exhibitions, seasonal sales, and promotional campaigns.
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and marketing partners to execute branding initiatives.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise marketing executives and field staff assigned to the zone.
- Train team members on brand messaging, promotional execution, and customer engagement.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to senior management.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, Gold Souq traders, and business partners.
- Address customer concerns and support relationship-building initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Gold Souq or similar jewellery markets (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of jewellery retail, wholesale operations, bullion trading, and silver products.
- Proven experience managing marketing operations at zone/regional level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics, customer preferences, and cultural buying patterns.
- Strong digital marketing awareness and ability to coordinate online/offline campaigns.
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing tools.
