- Deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics for Cambridge levels (for example: Cambridge IGCSE / Cambridge International AS & A Level) as applicable.
- Plan, design and execute lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus and assessment objectives, including advanced topics (algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete maths as needed).
- Use formative and summative assessment strategies appropriate to Cambridge programmes; prepare students for external examinations (IGCSE/A-Level).
- Differentiate instruction to support a mix of learner-profiles (academic, advanced, slower learners) and foster higher-order thinking, problem-solving and independent study.
- Act as a mentor / coach for younger mathematics teachers; lead the mathematics department or team; coordinate resources, extra-classes/enrichment for competitive math activities (Olympiads, math clubs).
- Liaise with parents and guardians on student progress, remedial support, extension work.
- Participate in departmental planning, professional development (especially Cambridge-specific training), curriculum review and school improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment, provide feedback, support transition to higher studies/university where relevant.
- Stay updated with best practices in international curriculum pedagogy (Cambridge), integrate educational technology and maintain a student-centric environment.
