Job Overview:
We are looking for 8+ years of experience in IBM Maximo Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the Maximo Application Suite for our organization. You will work closely with business teams to analyze requirements, deploy solutions, and optimize asset management processes. This role combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of asset management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration: Lead the configuration of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) solutions, including modules for asset management, work management, inventory and predictive maintenance.
- Customization: Customize the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to meet specific client requirements, including setting up workflows, custom reporting, and integrating with other enterprise systems.
- System Integration: Integrate MAS with other enterprise tools and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and improved operational efficiency. This includes configuring the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for data transfer between systems.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the system is performing optimally, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for system enhancements to improve asset management and maintenance processes.
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational needs, and provide advice on how to best leverage MAS to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
- Training & Support: Provide end-user training and ongoing support for MAS users, addressing any technical issues and resolving incidents promptly.
- Maintenance & Upgrades: Oversee the regular maintenance of the MAS platform, including updates and version upgrades, to ensure the system remains current with the latest features and improvements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for MAS configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have proven experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Maximo Asset Management (preferably 7.x or later versions).
- Strong working knowledge in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
- Strong working knowledge of the core modules of IBM MAS, including Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Predictive Maintenance, Maximo Mobile, Maximo Health, Maximo Monitor, Visual inspection and Reliability centered maintenance.
- Strong working experience in configuring and customizing Maximo modules to fit specific business needs.
- Strong understanding of IBM Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and its use in integrating with third-party systems.
- Solid knowledge of system administration, workflows, and scripting in Maximo.
- Proficiency with database management (SQL) and the ability to generate reports.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM Maximo Application Suite certifications.
- Experience with cloud-based deployments, especially IBM Cloud.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics in the context of asset management.
- Experience working in industries such as utilities and Infrastructure management.
